Sense & Sensibility Tea

The 413 Project is again delighted to produce another of Jane Austen’s classic tales. The story of Sense and Sensibility follows the Dashwood sisters, Elinore and Marianne. After the death of their father, the sisters are forced move with their widowed mother from Norland Park their childhood home to live impoverished at Barton Cottage. While their the young women experience first love, romance, and heartbreak at the hands of the dashing Willoughby and the attentive Colonel Brandon.
The 413 production of this beloved tale will take place as a high tea dinner event in two locations: June 2018 at Tea Lane tea house located in historic Fallbrook, and again in September at the Grand Tea Room located in historic Escondido, California. All performances include a delicious high tea and “in the round” audience seating. Don’t miss out on this classic and delicious event!

The Grand Tea Room
The Grand Tea Room is a full service tea room and gift shop located in the historical downtown district of Escondido, California. Elegant, cozy and filled with ambiance, the elegantly decorated salon provides the perfect setting for watching a play while enjoying tea with friends and family.
After the show enjoy shopping in the full service tea themed gift shop stocked with beautiful tea inspired and vintage inspiration items including tea pots, tea sets, demitasse spoons, tea strainers, tiers, trivets, books about tea and other collectibles.
