Sip For Peace – International Tea Resources
Teas from several of the 31 regions may not be readily available. To help you locate them, we have provided a few options for each day. This is not an exhaustive list of tea retailers offering teas from international origins. Nor are we recommending one retailer over another.
We recommend that you:
- get to know your retailers – both online vendors and brick-and-mortar shops
- try new teas at restaurants serving a specialized tea menu (ask about their sources)
- visit local tea retailers and seek out tea shops when you travel to taste their selections, learn from them and meet other tea lovers
- go to tea tastings and classes that compare and contrast different teas
- attend tea festivals
- purchase new teas in smaller sample sizes so that you can experiment with brewing and tasting on your own
- share your experiences with new teas by hosting your own tea tasting with tea-loving friends
